Below I have referred to Covid 19 Virus as Coronavirus in all instances. So Coronavirus in this context means Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) the acute infectious respiratory disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2).
1. Coronavirus is just another form of Cold flu
Coronavirus is a family of virus “Coronaviridae” which includes the command cold and many kinds of Winter Flu that we commonly get in the winter and cold season. Though common cold also a coronavirus, is not considered as harmful. Because, Most of the population around the world already has immunity from common cold as its been around since 200 years ago. The severity of coronavirus is because its a new virus and nobody has the immunity for it in their body. Though it is harmful now, but in the future this coronavirus might be grouped into common cold. By the effect of Herd immunity Coronavirus has been retreating from many countries.
2. rarely does Coronavirus cause complications in young adults and Children
According to the data about the coronavirus and which age has the highest death rate, It is clear that young teenagers and Children are at low risk of coronavirus. Older people have more risk and the possibility of death due to coronavirus. Though this is not a final conclusion and virus can change or mutate at any time and adapt itself, for now People below the age of 40-50 years have low risk of symptoms from coronavirus. But as children cannot actively try to reduce the spread by taking appropriate measure like putting masks and avoiding sneezing. They become easy spreaders of the virus. So children are to be kept away from Infection and be under supervision of Adults.
3. Bats cannot directly cause Coronavirus to Humans
The source of the coronavirus has been identified that it was migrated from Bats and Pangolins as an Intermediate medium. It cannot be transmitted directly from Bats or any other animal for that matter. Ebola is also another major pandemic which originated from certain infected mammals such as monkeys, fruit bats, forest antelope and porcupines, but not directly transferred from Bats to humans. It needs an Intermediate host for it to infect a human. These types of diseases are called Zoonotic Diseases. They occur when human Encroach on an area of forest that is deep in the jungle and is not safe or inhabitable for humans. Ebola was transferred when a village was set up after clearing out jungle in Wes African Villages. You can Find below a Video on How Ebola spread.
How humans are making pandemics more likely
4. Coronavirus is killed by UV Raditaion in Sunlight
Coronavirus and many other kinds of virus are killed by the UV rays from the sun or UVrays produced by UV light. So the virus cannot survive in direct sunlight, this decreases the spread of coronavirus. As Coronavirus cannot survive without a host animal. It is impossible for it spread in Daylight and UV radiation. So during the Rainy season when the UV radiation is less it was predicted that Coronavirus could spread more. But this has not happened and Covid19 has significantly reduced in many countries around the world.
How covid19 spreads outside vs inside
5. Coronavirus cannot Survive outside humans
Similar to many Bacteria and Virus they use Human Beings and animals has a host in which they rapidly reproduce, destroying the immunity of the host, and when the human immunity fails it cannot survive. But if the Immunity of the human being is strong enough they can fend of the Virus. They also have a mechanism of infecting large number of people and when most of the people are healthy, the chain of infection breaks and it cannot continue its spread.
6. Incubation period of Coronavirus is 2-3 days and maximum 14 days
The incubation period of the Covid19 virus, the period in which the symptoms start to show. is a maximum of 14 days. Thought many people have a severe reaction to the virus, Some people don’t have any kind of symptoms when the virus infects you. So you might not even know you were infected once by this virus. Symptoms start to show has little as 2-3 days and a maximum of 14 days is required for the virus to fully show symptoms. From the previous Coronavirus such as SARS MERS it has been standardized that 14 days is the maximum no of days for the virus to show any symptoms in a Human being.
7. You cannot get Fever medication during the pandemic directly from the Pharmacist
In India the government has restricted the sale of Fever medication and cold medicine over the counter in medical stores and Pharmacies in India. If people start to medicate for Coronavirus as common cold, it will become very difficult to stop the spread of coronavirus they will spread the virus without knowing that they had it in the first place. But this also makes people go to the hospital for common ailments, which is difficult now considered very difficult to get a bed for treatment in hospital, due to the broken Hospital system.

9. India has controlled Coronavirus Effectively
As of August 2020 India is among the Top three countries with most cases of infected of the coronavirus. You might think that this is because India has not controlled the virus properly, but its because of the high Population of people in India. Also people live in a very dense area. Mumbai is a best example of densely populated are. In India where More than half of the people in India live in the slums and Packed Apartment area. This makes it extremely hard to control the spread of the virus. Even with such high population India has controlled Coronavirus effectively. Dehli and Mumbai are the best examples how to control the virus among high packed areas of people.
