Nord is a separate line of phones under the One plus Brand that focus on making affordable premium phones. The Launch was made using an AR (Augmented reality) app which anybody can download. The launch was also covered by Unbox Therapy Youtube channel. One plus was teasing this phone for a while and One Plus used all the marketing they can for the people to get hyped about the phone.
They sure didn’t disappoint, this phone is a clear message that they are going back to their roots of creating affordable quality phones which they were known for. In the Recent times due to dispute between india and China near the Border, People have a urge to Boycott Chinese products and Companies. Most people might not know this but One Plus is a Chinese Company based in Shenzhen. If you are not willing to buy a Chinese product, you can opt for a Samsung, IPhone or a Google Pixel which are comparable phones.
2. not a budget phone in india
One Plus might have placed this as a Affordable Phone, But in reality the price is of that of a Flagship 2 years back. Prices keep going up and so do the unwanted features in the phone. The companies are willing to add any new feature just to up its price. If you are buying it for 5G you can wait at least for 2 to 4 years when 5G might be implemented widely. But until then you can stick with 4G. I think there is no return on Investment in buying a higher priced phones.
3. ONE PLUS IS THE NEW APPLE
For those who hate IPhone and Apple eco-system know that they are locked in their brand and have to buy their products only, for extra perks. Like a watch works very well with Iphone and Macbook or a Wireless headphone that pairs automatically. One Plus is also now has the product Library including One Plus TV, Wireless Ear Buds and many rumored products which will work seamlessly, only if you have a One Plus phone. Every brand has their own earphones, wireless charging stations and their own products and services, which people are pushed into.
